I met manoj at Mission peak in Fremont, CA, a couple of years ago. Manoj inspired me to start hiking and I specially enjoyed our 6 hour hike on Mt. Diablo. When a friend of mine and myself got lost in the Diablo trial, Manoj helped us track our way back. Manoj always amazed me with his sharp memory of various trails in the bay area and was an exceptional leader, a compassionate person and a proud father.
